Summer Gear for the Active Cancer Survivor
Congratulations, you’ve got your cancer under control and you’re ready to enjoy your summer vacation in the great outdoors.
But there’s a problem.
Your cancer treatments have left you with some special clothing needs that aren’t being addressed at the local mall.
In the past, finding appropriate attire after a mastectomy, ostomy, or other major surgery was certainly a challenge. Fortunately, more and more retailers are recognizing the growing demand for activewear designed to fit today’s cancer survivor.
To help you get on your way, we did a little browsing of our own and found some survivor-friendly summer products that may help you get through the warmer months a bit more comfortably and stylishly.
This list represents just a small sampling of the many useful products out there. CancerResearchJournal.com wishes we could include all the suggestions we hear about, but that would be impossible. Please share news about the products or services you find useful–or don’t–with other members in your cancer support group. Because, as we always say, information=choices.
